Re: [RC] re: regional awards - Truman PrevattI can't speak for PNER but I will outline what we do in SERA. SERA consists of the 8 states of the AERC SE region PLUS Virginia. The fact that VA is part of SERA seemed to get lost but we are now making an active effort to reach out to both VA riders and VA ride managers. VA riders and RM's should check out www.seraonline.org to check out the benefits of belonging and sanctioning with SERA.SERA will sanction AERC sanctioned rides in all the SERA states plus some rides on the border that traditionally been sanctioned in the past, e.g., Southern Indiana and Southern Ohio. We will accept members from anywhere. You don't even have have have US citizenship to join :-). We have several out of region members. The states of Indiana and Vermont come to mind. Our award program is based on the AERC points at SERA sanctioned rides. We count only SERA sanctioned rides in the awards program.
