Re: [RC] 100s - Barbara McCraryElevator rides allow only increase in mileage from a lower distance, not entering a higher mileage and receiving credit for a lower one if the rider decides to quit before finishing the higher mileage. Any ride manager may put on an elevator ride, but few do, so there just aren't the opportunities for the riders. An elevator ride must be so stated when the ride manager applies for sanctioning. It may be that managing them is more difficult in terms of bookkeeping.
