Re: [RC] FW: SERA? - Truman PrevattBev,Endurance in Georgia and Florida is very active. Off the top of my head I can count at least 14 rides in the two states last year. The only months without rides were June and July - need you ask why:-). There are many riders on the list from GA so maybe someone will pipe up. Be sure to join SERA (www.seraonline.org) and see you at a ride soon. Truman Bev Davison wrote: Hi all (sorry if this is a double post-had some trouble): I am considering a relocation to Georgia and discovered it may well be one of those well kept secrets you stumble onto.... I am a breeder and have 12-17 horses at any given time. I also have dabbled at endurance since the early 80's. I would like to get back into it seriously in the near future and as my bloodlines are historically linked to the sport it only makes sense as a marketing tool, too. <grin> I am actually basing my moving choices on being able to condition and raise my herd in a place suitable to my interests (NOT frigid north central MN!!) I would love to hear of interesting areas, endurance connections, great forests, or trails, weather, cost effectiveness of horses in GA, etc. I have looked online at just south of Athens, and a little around the Albany area, but really have just begun inquiring. ANY thoughts would be great! Privately if preferred or more appropriate.
