Re: [RC] [RC] Pull rate for 100's - Nancy MittsI don't think treatment "rate" is as relevant as what the treatment is and the reasoning for it. High profile races attract more horses & riders from a greater distance. This plays into the decision as to whether it's okay to wait for a horse to rehydrate himself or help them along with fluids. If nothing else perhaps Darolyn's letter will make people think twice about equating tubing fluids with a fast, easy, big drink of water to get the horse back on the road quicker.
