well... NOT easy.
Oh my gosh, don't I know it!! I was the "nervous
nellie" parent as my 12 yr old daughter was on her first ride at Santiam out on
last loop after I was pulled. I paced and paced and annoyed everyone at the
finish but they were still very nice to me. I even asked almost EVERY rider who
came across if they had seen a young girl on a white horse with a bright pink
bridle? And is she still alive? Is her horse ok? I was very nervous cause
they were over time by 1 hour!! Her sponsor's horse was having problems. But my
daughter had a smile on her face at the finish and is now hooked on mom's
sport!!
