I just finished looking back at the ride calendar for the CT region 2003,
and prior.  Why don't we have any rides at Angelina (Foxfire) anymore?
Darolyn, any hope for the Houston Hustle again?

I looked at our past regions rides (in texas) and there seems to have been
an increase this year for rides in west texas, but when I look at results,
not a huge turnout compared to rides closer to Houston or Dallas.  I sure
am missing the rides closer to home!  And per the results, so are a lot of
other folks who I guess it's safe to assume must feel W. Texas is just WAY
too far?  I know, I know, there are lots of you in W. and Central Texas,
but in line w/ population, there are tons of us in Dallas and Houston.   I
realize there were two rides very close to me last month, but I'm not going
ANYWHERE in August! And again, looking at the results, these rides in
August had half the entrants compared to  when they are in October and
December (same location but different name)

So don't get me wrong, I'm glad ride season is cranking up again!  The heat
is gone, the heat is gone!!!  I'm sure everybody else is feeling just as I
am,  the time is right, let's RIDE!
