[RC] re: Ariat Terrain boots - Kris Hazelbaker

I see this topic has come up again. I just bought a pair a week ago, and
I'm very happy with them so far. Little to no break-in time. Room in the
toe area (not narrow by any means). Mine are about a half size down from
what I get in athletic shoes. Someone mentioned the lack of cushioning in
the foot. Which is true, they aren's really cushy there, but they are
shaped so well, that it hasn't been a problem for me yet, with my vast,
extensive experience with them. ;>) I have used them mostly for hiking
around, not for riding, yet. I was mostly looking for a hiking boot/shoe
when I bought them, and tried on several brands of hiking shoes. These were
by far the most comfortable for me.

The man in the store said that the men's version is supposed to be out this
fall sometime.
