I have "Horse Owner's Veterinary Handbook",buy Giffen and Gore,Howell Book Press,ISBN 0-87605-880-2 That's Giffen,not Griffen.Pretty good;my copy has gotten me through a lot of questions and problems;I also routinely clip magazine articles from such pubs as Western Horseman,and tuck them into it.I also have the sister publication on dogs,and I have relied on that one very heavily over the years.
