I've not seen these bareback pads in paticular, but I tried out four or five
models this spring. My problem was that I couldn't get any girthed tight
enough and the closed cell foam was really hot for me. I bought a lungeing
surcingle with handles and use it to hold my Skito on, it works great for
Star and I. Though, I think if we were going to be doing alot of hill work
I'd prefer a flatter surcingle, the handles are at least 6" tall.
