RE: [RC] [Guest] Bowed Tendon - Ridecamp ModeratorGary Daniels" <gdaniels@xxxxxxx> My heart goes out to you and your horse. Thank you for your e-mail and for sharing your story. Thank you for keeping the faith as well. I can't believe the wonderful positive response I have received from people. Thanks also for your advice. I, too, have purchased and read the bowed tendon book. It was great and so informative, encouraging and full of useful advice. There is another treatment out there that I personally have no real knowledge about, but my friend who just won the U.S. National Championships in show-jumping had several of his grand-prix jumpers treated with some kind of shock therapy and had tremendous success with the results. Again, I know very little about it, but you may want to ask your vet. As for myself, I did the gel-casts, hand walking, etc. - about the same things you are doing. I wish you all the best, I really do. Keep the faith and keep an open mind - I've read about some of the most incredible success stories about horses that weren't just forgotten about due to an injury.
