Hi there,
Years ago when my husband wanted to be my husband... :) he bought me 
this great all around book simply called "The Horse."  It's particulars 
are:  published by Freeman (NY), authored by J. Warren Evans, Anthony 
Borton, Harold F. Hintz, and L. Dale Van Vleck.
