[RC] [Guest] Bowed Tendon - Ridecamp Moderator

Dear Gary,
Happens to all of us that try to apply what we think we know to actual conditioning/competition. Unless we are blessed with the tutelage of a master, we make mistakes. All of us should strive to be the best that we can be. What would the alternative be for your horse, were he left to his own devices now? Every set back has it's positive side. You are now more educated, by your own admission, than when you started. Take that knowledge and give your horse the best possible outcome. It's well documented that bowed tendons can and are being succesfully rehabilitated back to the original level of competition. If that leads you back to endurance, then so be it. Kudos to you for giving the time, money and emotional investment that your horse needs. Best to both of you in your endeavor. Lynn
