IMHO, it doesn't make much difference where the center hits...its so damn big you're gonna get it anyway. They eye is 50 miles in diameter. One of the important things to consider regarding how "serious" it will be at your locations is which side of it you're on. If you're in the NE Quadrant...that is NE of the direction of travel, you will get stronger wind, more rain, and the exposure will be longer. If you live on the North Carolina/Virginia Coast, especially in a low lying area, suggest you get your horses OUT of there, especially if the eye comes ashore SOUTH of you. So much for Biltmore...<sigh> probably gonna have to give it up...Isabel is just too big and too dangerous. High winds and wet roads are no place for a horse trailer.
