You all jinxed us. Full moon right after you all said 2 nights ago , Ellery heard the horses running, through the window, I went out in my pajamas,rubber boots, glasses (had taken contacts out already and my depth perception in glasses is hysterical), with my flashlight, Everyone is a bit spoky, my 2 yr old Scout is sweating (it's like 67%) and steaming, the others were warm to slightly sweaty. Rascal follows me on the 'tour" of the pasture, then when we are on the other side the others come tearing up.Found nothing , thought maybe the pig came back.Decided, ti was the weather change and fun in the moonlight. (I mean who wants to run around in 80-90's with the 80% humidity we had this year?)
Mine always runa around and play more in the spring and fall, think it's those nice cool breezes. Laurie/Rascal ,Honey/Scout

How about that. same here me too -- really had me going on Sun night.
There was fog in the low pasture. Cows next door were calling all night.
Dog barking and the coyotes  --
The herd was running all over and calling each other.
I walked the whole pasture 25 AC  with a big high power light - though the
cows broke into the fence.

Horses were all fine..but spooky.
Then I looked up FULL moon end of summer.. yep old farmers tales -- but its
true??
