The good thing about prep-h is that it contains a mild skin anesthetic that soothes the chafe. Better soloution...next time you get a physical, ask your doctor to give you a prescription for Mycolog cream...or the generic substitute. It's normally used for yeast infections....I get them because I run/work/sweat a lot in the humid SE which is how I found out about it, but it's also useful for painful chafes in "sensitive" areas. It's a very common prescription, very safe, and most physicians will prescribe it upon request. Anesthetic is much stronger and gives unbelievable relief in seconds. Water soluble and very soothing.
