I use the supracor with my RP. I just sit the bare panels on the 
supracor.  I use it for heat dissipation. Works fine.

My wife uses a Dixie Midnight under the "booties" that go over the 
panels. It works fine for her. So I think you can go either way.

My suggestion is do some experimentation.
