I love the cashel fly mask with the
ears and long nose.
I have finally brought my boy home after 14 days of being
really sick. (that is another tale)
I lived at the vets cause he needed 24 hour care and they are
not staffed for the time he required.
The flys were bad and he did not have the energy to shake them
off. The cashel mask stood up to his rolling, rubbing and kept the flys off his
face.
He had stood on his head in the trailer when he went down
enroute to the vet so his face is well scuffed up with weepy cuts and rubs. In
fact the only thing supporting his body was his head so it was very marked. The
cashel covered all wounds, stayed on and did not tear or pull like the
cheaper masks do.
They are more costly but worth every dime.
The riding masks do not stand up to pasture use but are
wonderful for riding in.
