[RC] [Guest] BVS Ride - Ridecamp ModeratorJudy Kuplent <jkuplent@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>Scott, You'll love the BVS ride. Usually single track trails, hardly any rocks, elevation from 4,000 to mid 6,000. See our ad in Horsetrader that briefly describes the trails or visit our website to find out about Bear Valley Springs. If you have any days free before the ride, call for a gate pass and come on up and ride some of the trails. Peggy Smith will also probably respond to you, but she's been having back problems with her horse, so may not be riding. But Carol Miller and Chris Paschke are BVS residents and will be riding and conditioning their horses in our hills too. Carol spotted a bear and her cub on the high country trails a few weeks ago. If you can still reserve a spot at the campground, there is shade and pipe corrals - an extra fee but worth it. By the way, be prepared -- Cheri Briscoe usually gives out a "Best Buns" award! The workers (P&R, timers, etc.) are the ones that vote. Also be prepared to have a good time...............
