[RC] Headaches/dehydration - Lysane CreeHi, and thanks for all the great tips. I've made myself a list of all of the suggestions, so I can have a checklist next time around - to remember to bring all the necessary things and to drink water, and more water, and to not forget to eat either. I hadn't thought of lack of protein as a potential problem, although I do tend to have a high carb diet (complex carbs though not simple carbs). I do like protein bars and milk/juice/protein powder shakes so those would be a good idea and easy enough to bring along. Another thing I thought of is that most of the carbs I was eating over the weekend were simple carbs - there is always a table full of goodies next to the coffee but it is usually danishes and donuts and things like that... Probably had high blood sugar but not much else. Not that I'm complaining, the rides always have lots of food and yummy food, just that I should be more aware of what I'm eating at breakfast and lunch (suppers are usually the most well balanced)the way I am when I am home.
