Would agree with Ms. Kuvik. Would not advise
selenium supplementation w/o knowing current level of horse(s) through blood
test. Levels in grasses actually vary greatly within our own small
county.
Am surprised there has been no comment re: Dr.
Baldwin's report on tragic horse death this spring - sited several digests
ago. Does anyone see a way the current system could be tweaked to have
prevented it?
