Re: [RC] Friends trailer tragedy has me thinking - A. PerezI would talk to some trailer dealers to see if they have heard of this sort of failure with this trailer before. You could also check the 'Trailer Talk' forum at Horse Trailer Worl (http://www.horsetrailerworld.com/home/forum/display_forum.asp) - it has lots of info, and you can post questions. From what you say, it sounds like the latch on the breast-bar failed? That should not be an inherant problem with all fiberglass traielrs, but may be a design flaw with this specific model of trailer... or may not be, could just be a fluke. If you are planning to haul un-trained (trailer-trained, that is) horses, you'd better stick to steel stock trailers. But the better plan would be only to haul horses that have been trained to trailer. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
