Well, that's one thing I don't have to worry about with my new rider husband. He's an ultra marathoner now. Have you seen what these guys wear? He's not into stylish <VBG> you ought to see him barely able to walk to the gas pump after a race in his spandex with windproof shorts on top usually not color coordinated. But, very likely brand (Asics not Nike) co-coordinated. We just need to solve the slippery leather saddle against slippery spandex.
