[RC] finding a farrier - Scott JohnsonLooking for opinions on this matter: If a farrier is certified (as noted by a listing of farriers from the American Farriers Association), what exactly does that mean? If YOU were searching for a new farrier, how important would it be to you for a prospective farrier to be certified? Is word of mouth better? I'm possibly looking for a new one, and I live in a fairly rural area, so there doesn't seem to be too many around (none in the yellow pages). Also, what might be some pertinent questions to ask? Thanks for any help.....Maggie??Dede central CA =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
