Yes, it can test positive. Before the handy-dandy days of injections and pills, pharmacology was a rather inexact matter of taking plants known to have pharmacological effects and trying to dose them in such a way that the patient got enough to work but not so much as to be harmful. The medicine men and women of primitive cultures looked at a field of plants just about like a modern druggist looks at his shelf. The concept that just because the plant is growing out there "naturally" it is not a drug, is pretty naive. Thanks for the one pharmacological detail on C&C, kat. If such remedies did not contain pharmacologically active plants (herbs, if you will), they wouldn't have the desired effects.
