[RC] SmoothShow - Jim HollandFor those of you who are into digital photography and trying to find a way to document/archive/send and otherwise manage your photos, you might want to check out SmoothShow. http://www.smoothshow.com/ I have been using it for about 6 months now and am very pleased. Very easy to use. It lets you collect your photos into slide shows with all kinds of transitions, play music with the photos, and even record voice on the fly for each photo. Two audio tracks and it will synchronize the slide display time with the audio automatically...very slick. It will "collect" photos from all over your PC, then write them all to a single location so you can create a CD. There is a runtime module that gets copied out to the location with the pics and the SmoothShow .exe file. You can send the CD to anyone with a PC and they can play your show without purchasing SmoothShow. (Works like Acrobat) In addition, it has a web export tool that creates web pages with animated image transitions. Does a whole bunch of other stuff. Working taking a look if you have a need. They're doing a promotion....using my email address (lanconn@xxxxxxx) and get 10% off. You can download the product and try it without purchase...just puts a banner across all the shows until you purchase a license. Check it out....
