Re: [RC] Education - doing something about it - patty bassMelanie, In theory this sounds ok but there are people out there who know horses and endurance but due to circumstances aren't able to attend many rides each year. for LD riders that is how many rides? When i started endurance every horse in LD received a final check and then was given a score overall. I don't remember any top ten awards for finishing, it was for the scores and i don't remeber time being part of the score. When my horse came thru with a 100 score i knew it was time for a 50 and that is when i moved up. Anyone else remember these cards? In some aspects it was like competitive trail but not 3 score cards and noone gave you a score on whether your water bucket matched your feed tub.
