[RC] Heat & humidity - rides2farWell, I guess I'm the "oddball" in this too. When I lived in theSE I> > always did some of my conditioning in the afternoons in the hottest> > part of the day. I don't worry about it *too* much since it's not like they spend their day in the air conditioning. They're out there in it all day every day. UNLIKE riders who amaze me setting their home thermostats at 70 degrees and being surprised when they keel over in the heat. My thermostat at home stays between 80 and 83. The air conditioner in my classroom (which is a free standing portable) isn't working up to par and it's been 84 degrees by my last period of the day. I love it. I have no problem whatsoever...meanwhile those hyper little urchins whose parents keep their thermostats so low get very lethargic....makes them much easier to live with. >eg< Today at 2 PM it was 65% humidity. Fortunately, Southern women don't sweat. We *glow*. :-) Angie ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
