i got an 8 year old mare in june. she is andalusian/ arab cross.   i have been conditioning her for rides this fall.  she moves great, has a good resting pulse rate and great recovery.  i am doing a natrc ctr with her in two weeks, for her first real outing.  i definitely think she has what it takes.  dont really know if andalusians are  classed as warmbloods as was referenced in the original post, but she is a nice, big, good looking horse.   ed
