One thing to consider is if your tires on your trailer are about four or more years old they will probably have some sort of dry rot and will blow out because of that vs. any problems with the tread or inflation.I've talked to a tire dealer about that ( I had to replace three of my four trailer tires on a long trip out west in 2001 ). We got the trailer in '97 and the tires were 4 years old and looked good. He said that RV's and horse trailers normally sit in one position for long periods of times vs. cars and trucks that keep moving. It's the sitting in one place for long periods and maybe exposure to the UV rays of the sun that cause small cracks in the side that result in blowouts when they get heated from driving on hot highways in the summer. He suggested that they should be replaced about every 4 years - especially if you are going on a long trip with long days of driving - to prevent having blowouts. Truman Nina Vasiliev wrote:
