[RC] inspection stations - Jonni JewellArizona has the same sign at the inspection station going to Phoenix, and they issue a ticket if you fail to stop and they have to chase you <g>. Having your paperwork in order doesn't get you off the hook. The first year they had that livestock sign they made some big bucks off Californians hauling to the Carousel multi-breed show in Scottsdale.<<<< I was one of them they made big bucks off of!!! Spring of 2000, heading to an annual event. Went past inspection station on I-10, as we had NEVER stopped in the past. Was chased down, flagged over, and given a ticket for failure to yield to an inspection station. All paperwork (including truck insurance) was in order. I was able to do a 'court by phone', and had a very nice judge. But, she still had to fine me something, so I got off with about $50 - $100 I think in fees. The flip side is that you pull into some of these inspection stations in some states, and they get irritated you brought a horse trailer through. <sigh> Here is the link for state requirements for entry. I keep it bookmarked. http://www.aphis.usda.gov/vs/sregs/ Jonni in Texas =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= http://www.endurance.net/ads/seabiscuit.html Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
