[RC] [Guest] Long shirts....thank you everyone!! - Ridecamp ModeratorHannah Petersen rosetta15@xxxxxxxxxxx Thank you so much to all who replied (or who still wants to reply, I read all the time, I'm addicted to ridecamp :). I appreciate all the advice and links given, as well. Since I'm just 20 and scraping to pay for my horses *and* rides (and it's **completely** worth it!!), I'm definitely going for cheap and will go check out the thrift stores and target or kmart today. Since it's such a dry heat here, I think I'll look for the cotton, unless I find a nice synthetic for cheap. I got to experience again last night how blessed we are to do what we do. I got invited out to do a night ride along the Tevis trail, from lower 49 crossing to the river crossing and back. The feeling of cantering alongside the river, relying on my horse to see the way down dark trails (love that thrill!), watching the moon rise over the canyons and touch the mountains and river, and knowing it was just us, our horses, and only miles of country around...and everything just feels *right*...there's nothing more beautiful and freeing than the feeling that washes over you on a ride like that.
