[RC] snakebites-longish - rides2farMost poisonous snakebites: -occur in men -occur with alcohol involved -are not the first bite for the person -occur in the south I will not comment on the above for fear of offending some southern, > beer-drinking gentleman that has been bitten more than once. No offense taken down here. We're just relieved he didn't mention anything about them being at church. >g< I've known two people who were bitten. One was picking blackberries (sober female's first bite) and the other sat on a copperhead (young sober male). I guess I'm just not hanging out with the right crowd. I've known a horse that was bitten in the chest, and a dog on it's back. Weird places seems like. The horse was female and sober, the bird dog was male and a little ditzy...it was a first for both. Both just made big round ball shaped swellings that drained puss out the fang holes.
