Re: [RC] Bits - SullivanI don't know why anyone would specifically aspire to use the S-hackamore. At the end of the day, use the bit that works for the horse. I do. It is a great little hackamore that does not flop or dangle (like mechanical hacks or vosals), but will work on horses that need a little more stop than a rope halter. It is far better than a bit, becuase they can eat and drink freely on the trail. It fits close to the face, and has no adverse affect on the horse when ridden on a loose rein.
