Re: [RC] weighing FEI - Debra Ager

I think I may have come up with a solution to the weight problem.  I have wrist and ankle weights from when I used to work out.  Each weighs 2.5 lbs. and I put four of them together to make a 10 lb., snug-fitting, padded weight belt!  I haven't ridden in it yet (it's 35 degrees and raining today) but when I do, I'll let y'all know how it goes.  You can buy them at Academy or Walmart and they come in a 5 lb. set or a 10 lb. set.  They may also have weight belts, but I'm not sure.  They have 1.5 inch velcro straps and they chain together well, too.  Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes.  Us featherweights have it rough, don't we?
BTW, thanks for the idea about the bicycle tube and lead shot (I can't remember who suggested it); sounds like a good one.
Debbie (who weighs in at 150-155 with tack)
