Re: [RC] Equine chiropractor Ohio - Susan Garlinghouse, DVMLook up the AVCA on the internet. I don't remember their address. For veterinary chiropractors, http://www.avcadoctors.com/ For certified veterinary acupuncture (internat'l and US): http://www.komvet.at/ivadkom/vapsocs.htm#pract I would encourage everyone to try to find practitioners that are first veterinarians, or at least a DC that has done formal post-grad training in veterinary therapy. Although there are a lot of therapists that are very good that are not vets or DCs (I'm friends with at least one that I absolutely trust), there are also a lot of non-vets that have no business laying hands on an animal (and is often illegal to do so). If nothing else, a vet should presumably know when poking a needle in somewhere is likely to be safe, or likely to produce a collapsed lung. Just a caveat emptor thing.
