Maggie, I here in ALABAMA and we ride up at the
camp quit alot. all i can say is be prepared for steeper hills than MI.. I
have done a few CMO rides in MI ( when i lived there a few yrs ago) and the land
terrain is so Diff here than in MI. Bring a spare breast collar just in case.
and you might want to even consider putting shoes with heels on your horse
before you come down... Good trails though, and nice camp ground.

Things are shaping up here in Michigan and we may be
heading down to TN for Big South Fork in September. Anyone care to share
what they know? I'll e-mail Karen Isaacs for an entry and specifics but
am really dying to know about the trail...have always wanted to ride down
there so this is really exciting...hope this doesn't jinx us!! :)
I checked out the ride results for the last couple of years and ride times
lead me to believe it is a challenging trail. Any input from
anyone?? :)
