Re: [RC] dressage instruction for endurance riders - A. PerezI'm still just an endurance 'wannabe', so my opinions probably not worth much, but I personally feel that dressage is worthwhile no matter what type of riding. While you may not usually ride 'deep' when endurance riding, there are times when it is good to be able to in order to regain control over a strung-out horse. It alos is useful have have some concept of lateral movement and bending. This is not to say you should commit to dressage lessons for the long-haul, but a few weeks of lessons can can provide a set of tools that are handy to have when you need them. Likewise taking some jumping lessons can help provide confidence and comfort with fast forward motion. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
