Re: [RC] Cool Tips for Riders - DESERTRYDR1I carry a water back pack, like a camelback, but not the same brand. I use it to keep my horse wet, by sprinkling the water down her neck and shoulders. I carry 4 water bottles for me, so I don't really need it for me. You could try something like that, fill it with cold water and ice, then use it to sprinkle you down every little bit. Also, you will stay cooler if you drink way lots more water than you think you need. Same principle as for the horses, got to stay hydrated. And in spite of Howard's suggestion, like Heidi says, juice and water are the best. jeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
