Re: [RC] [Guest] [RC] [RC] Sodium Hyaluronate Gel-Oral form - Ridecamp ModeratorDody Sutton dody.sutton@xxxxxxxxxxxI started using the Liquid Hyaluronate in February on my 9 yr old gelding, who has had rt frt lameness off and on for two years. He has been to a specialist who gave him Hyal. injections into the fetlock, he has been on glucosomine forever, and he has clear x-rays. I decided last September to give him the winter off - no shoes and he was sent to my mothers farm in West Virginia to graze for 6 months. February of this year I brought him home and started the liquid Hyal. and so far he is doing great. He has completed a 25 and next week we will try another. In August we are going to attempt a 50 and hopefully complete. I don't know if the time off helped or if it is the Hyal. liquid but I will continue to use it. It is less expensive than the injections, but I do have the doubt of it not being localized to the problem area and the possibility of me just wasting money. Wasted or not as long as he is sound I am happy.
