[RC] Sodium Hyaluronate Gel-Oral form - Ag47xAu49

Does anyone know anything about the differences between oral a injected Sodium Hyaluronate?My pony is getting 100mg orally 2x a week post surgery. Is it more cost effective orally than by the shot that lasts a month? Just curios. Two vets in my area do not use oral at all, say it is a waste. Beccy in Ut
