Re: [RC] Statistics on Pulls for one day rides vs multidays and regional differences - Dabney FinchAngie, it actually doesn't have to be A or B; there's another option too: C. Not all multi-day pulls are reported as pulls to AERC, instead the rider with the lame horse is not listed as having started the ride. That would sure help those multi-day stats. --Dabney ----- Original Message ----- From: <rides2far@xxxxxxxx> To: <mmaul@xxxxxxxxx> Cc: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; <AERCMembersForum@xxxxxxxxxxxx>; <bod@xxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, June 30, 2003 7:57 AM Subject: Re: [RC] Statistics on Pulls for one day rides vs multidays and regional differences There is a huge difference in lameness pull rates for multiday rides vs one day endurance rides. The pull rate for lameness at a one day endurance ride is 7 times the rate at multiday rides. The huge difference is not explainable and needs more examination.Hmm. Seems it would have to be A or B A. Multi-day horses are 7x better. B. Multi-day vets see 7x more lenient.
