Re: [RC] Anyone willing to lend me an "S" hackamore to try? - sharon1359Ed, He's an RMH/Arab - don't know for certain what gait it is, but I suspect it's a slow running walk (also called flat walk I think). He needs to get his head down low to do it, and he gets a good nod going. As far as control issues go: I have a hard time holding him back at the start, but it's not anything I can't handle easily IF I'm using a bit. Don't know how it will go without a bit. Betty & Karen, I'd be willing to try a "figure 8" bitless bridle ... I do understand how it works ... but I'm stuck with the same problem here. I can't afford to buy one just to try it and decide it doesn't work. *sigh* Oh, to be rich. Thanks, -Sharon K. & Zephyr's Elegant Gift (C'mon ma, figure it out! I wanna eat on the trail!) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
