Re: [RC] feeding broodmares - Bette LamoreThanks for the feedback, Susan. Always worth heeding.BTW I was referring to the local vets---- Charlie is my I-need-the-best-leg-man-in-the-country-and-am-willing-to-drive-an-hour-each-way-for-him vet. And my Charlie story is when he was buried appointments and my stallion Explodent needed another surgery---- double tenectomy in fact--- and Charlie got up at 5AM to be there by 6 and couldn't ask that of his staff so there I was with him on an air mattress on his lawn (before that fancy new operating room he has now) holding up the saline solution--- assisting with the anesthesia--- and loving every minute of watching a genius in action! It wouldn't be the last surgery he let me sit in on, either---- beats ER on TV all to hell! And bet he remembers that story--- he remembered you last time I mentioned you had fond memories of him. Thanks again for your feedback! Bette Susan Garlinghouse, DVM wrote:
