Re: [RC] Arabian saddles - Barbara McCraryI tested a Solstice for a couple of rides. 1) I had tried an X-wide and it was too wide for that particular horse (not the fault of the saddle, of course). 2) For me, personally, the stirrups were set back too far and gave me cramps in my hip joints. In the first place, these cramps are something that occurs from time to time, not always caused by a saddle, either. In the second place, many riders prefer the "dressage" style of stirrup placement; it just doesn't happen to suit my body. That being said, I have a Sylvan GP by Arabian Saddle Co. and I absolutely love it. It is super comfortable and very well made. If the Solstice suits you, then buy it. The saddles are just great. Find the model that fit YOU.
