Re: [RC] Rolling at rides - Kristene SmutsLast year at one particular ride, when I went to the vet check, I had a hard time keeping Ibn from rolling. We have the limited time vet check - 20 mins after arrival you have to report with a clean horse. So, I had to walk Ibn fairly briskly to the check to make sure he doesn't roll. After the vet did his check and I had to trot out, I felt the lead rope getting heavier and heavier and couldn't understand why people were laughing. When I looked back, Ibn was virtually running on his knees with his neck and head stretched out - he was going to have that roll, come hell or high water! When I saw the vet laughing as well, I let Ibn roll and then just trotted him properly - dust billowing off him.
