Monte wanted to know why I signed "my" post "Angie"!!
The only difference is that I turn mine loose in her Safety Pen instead of tying. She's enjoyed all of my company she can stand for a while!
Fresh hay, water, and extra elytes is all these horses need for a while after a ride, IMO.
Of course, I look at her from time to time. If you know your horse well enough to be doing these rides, you can tell when they are "uncomfortable". That's when you need to listen to guts, take another HR, maybe a temp if it's been a really hot ride.
