They sell this electrolyte drink and/or powder
you add to water that is really concentrated and doesn't taste so sweet. They
sell it at hiking/mountaining stores like REI. Really helped me this last ride.
Eating different also really helped. I have a
friend who is an Ironman competitor. She has a nutritionist who helps her. I ate
as she suggested and felt MUCH better. Bananas, peanut butter, cooked pasta,
bagels. Stuff that is simplier to digest. Drink electrolyte drinks 24-48 hours
prior to ride instead of just on ride day. No alcohol, sugar, caffeine 24-48
hours prior.
