Speaking of the kicking topic, here's a new one for
me. (this was not an endurance ride) A rider came up beside me on the
uphill side of a trail and her HORSE swung his head and knocked me almost off my
horse! He wasn't trying to scratch; he swung his head deliberately and hit
me squarely in the side! As I was struggling to stay on, my horse DID
kick. Of course, they should never kick but I couldn't help but thinking
"thanks" :))
