[RC] [Guest] lameness - Ridecamp Guest

angela mccorkle@xxxxxxxxxxx

I was wondering if anyone could give me a suggestion on a lameness I have in
a 4 yr old. She is just being started under saddle and I have noticed that
she is off on the left side all the time. I know last year I noticed it but
chalked it up to being in a growing ackward stage. I started her again
recently and she is doing the same thing so I had a friend watch her travel
with and without a rider and we both see she is slightly off on the left
side. She has never had any injuries other then a small cut on her foot.
She trots under herself per say and holds her head up and you can notice a
slight bob but nothing drastic, there is no swelling anywhere so I am
thinking maybe a shoulder injury maybe she got kicked by another horse
sometime and is always going to be slightly off or maybe something in the
neck or back. I have an appointment on Thursday to take her to a vet to
have her checked just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this
strange type of lameness.
