Re: [RC] managment and completion awards - m lHi Nikki, My only point was the completion awards should be different and not available to people who don't complete. Finishing an endurance ride is a great accomplishment. I've don't alot more training ride, due to personal injuries not related to riding horses. I would love to ride Tevis some day. I think I finally have a horse that will be able to do it. I don't know if you read all the e-mails, but originally we were talking about AERC rules on completion. The T-shirts are a symbol of the time most of us have spent accomplishing the partnership required to compete/complete. It's OUR accomplishment and a goal achieved with my equine partner. When I wear a tshirt or sweatshirt or carry a bag that identifies a ride I've completed, I wear it with pride. When I wear a shirt I've been given for volunteering, my sense of satisfaction and pride is very different. I dont have that many to choose from, I know which are which, and dont much care if anyone else knows or not. (I also buy a Tevis shirt every year- for inspiration!!) nikki __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
